CeBIT 2006: Averatec Discussion Platform

The latest developments in notebooks and home entertainment

This year again at the CeBIT, Averatec will be providing the press and public with the latest company and product news. But the Averatec stand is not a typical trade fair stand. Instead, the notebook manufacturer has chosen to create an industry discussion platform. So, from 9 to 15 March at CeBIT 2006, Averatec can be found ‘behind the green door’ on the roof of Hall 1, Stand 831, Access 4/8.



"This year we are looking at the CeBIT as a forum for discussion,” said Bengt Stahlschmidt, Managing Director of Averatec Europe GmbH. "The market is very volatile at the moment so we want to observe and analyse the latest developments very closely, before we make any final decisions about new product lines.”



Averatec has a wide range of ideas and concepts for new products, which it will be presenting at CeBIT. These include the innovative LittleLluon multifunctional home entertainment device which Bill Gates has already presented at the CES in Las Vegas earlier this year. In addition, the fusion of notebooks and PDAs will be another important subject to be discussed at the show and Averatec will also be presenting a range of new classic notebook products.



"At CeBIT we will be showcasing fundamental new trends that are emerging in the notebook market and innovative solutions that will place Averatec at the forefront of these developments,” said Bengt Stahlschmidt. "Through these developments we want to get into discussions with companies that can help us to respond better to our clients’ requests and requirements in the future.”



This face-to-face contact can be made with the Averatec team at CeBIT while the company will also be asking visitors for their views through a questionnaire and ‘Opinion postbox’.
