Housekeeping trolley from Wanzl for versatile use
More than just a housekeeping trolley: thanks to its extensive range of equipment, the popular Mundus from Wanzl Hotel Service can be adapted to various applications in just a few simple steps. The design concept of the four models offers plenty of configuration options. This makes the Mundus for example ideal for use in the spa area. However, the trolley can also be converted for use in restaurants or conference areas as well as on the terrace in just a few simple steps. Thanks to the many design variants with a choice of anthracite, natural oak and ebony finishes for the body as well as black metallic, titanium grey and gold metallic for the frame colours, it blends seamlessly into every interior concept, thus proving to be an economic "silver bullet". “The cost pressure in the hotel and catering trade is high and the situation remains difficult,” explains Markus Spengler, Senior Vice President Sales Hotel & Material Handling. “As a supplier, this means that we must offer durable products that meet the needs of the sector as well as the available investment volume.” This does not only apply to new purchases: even older models can be easily redesigned with new attachments and thus continue to be used. The Wanzl concept is based on end-to-end compatibility.
Towels and wellness equipment clearly presented
With a small items box in the Mundus structure, care products for guests remain tidy, while towels and bathrobes can be stored in the variable shelves in the body. In addition to a side-mounted laundry bag in elegant anthracite, Wanzl also offers a stylish laundry trolley for collecting used textiles, which is firmly connected to the Mundus, but can be easily detached and transported separately.
Perfect guest service
With plenty of storage space for snacks and drinks, the Mundus looks just as good at banquets as it does at conference centres. The space-saving design, the particularly high manoeuvrability - thanks to the standard fifth castor - and the lightweight aluminium construction guarantee quick and versatile use at events. The sides of the trolley are ideal for labelling, so that the conference menu, for example, can be presented there.
An ideal service station
In the restaurant and on the terrace, you can once again see what a space-saver the Mundus is. Even the largest model, the Mundus 11, scores points with slim exterior dimensions, but at the same time offers everything a service station needs. A structure in the railing variant ensures that bottles and glasses are also secure during transport. In addition to holders for glasses, there is plenty of space for tableware and cutlery boxes in the body. The waste separation boxes on the side can be used for food leftovers and other table waste. If required, a cleaning tray keeps items ready for cleaning the tables. Thanks to special bonded-on rubber castors, it is also very easy to transport the Mundus outdoors, even on uneven surfaces.
