Thanks to PVD coatings and different types of finish, hoteliers and restaurateurs have long since been able to choose cutlery models to match their own individual table arrangements from an attractive range of design options. At HOST in Milan, HEPP is now demonstrating that an unusual look also cuts a fine figure on the buffet. The new chafing dishes with black powder coating are impressive highlights for presenting food. In combination with the new coloured design, the spotlight also shines on the handles and adapters in particular. These are now available not only as silverplated version, but also with a PVD gold and PVD copper finish. In addition, HEPP is showcasing two popular cutlery collections in a glamorous gold finish: AVES and ROYAL.
The fascinating world of surface finishing has finally made its way onto the buffet, enabling restaurateurs to stage dishes that are as creative as they are unique. HEPP is presenting its new generation chafing dish models in Milan. Besides their striking deep black appearance, they also offer optimal performance. Thanks to the integrated induction plate, the food stays evenly warm and the glass lid offers buffet guests a clear view of the contents – without having to open the lid. The handles and adapters of the chafing dishes in particular contribute to the individual design of the buffet. In addition to the classic silver variant, they can now also be selected in gold and copper colors. This is made possible by a PVD coating.
Exquisite eye-catcher
With its distinctive color, pure gold exudes quality and elegance like no other precious metal. The real gold coating gives cutlery a luxurious look, creating a special mood and atmosphere around any elegant table. Visitors at HOST can see this for themselves at the HEPP booth. In a specially lit display cabinet, two selected cutlery collections reveal their "golden" look for the first time. AVES and ROYAL impress with their extraordinary material thickness and striking design, making them the ideal combination with their real gold coating, which lends both collections a touch of royalty.

The HEPP brand, part of proHeq GmbH based in Birkenfeld near Pforzheim, is one of the world’s leading suppliers for the perfectly laid table. The company uses highly specialized manufacturing processes to produce the most diverse range of tableware and serving equipment – from cutlery, coffee pots and chafing dishes to food distribution systems. The focus is on the material and workmanship, and HEPP products also meet the highest standards in design, quality and function.
In 1863, the brothers Carl and Otto Hepp founded the company under this premise and are therefore rightly considered the inventors of hotel silverware. HEPP is one of the world’s major suppliers of leading hotels, hotel chains and restaurants, as well as quality-conscious bulk caterers, international cruise ship operators, airlines and railway companies.
Since the end of 2016 proHeq GmbH has been part of the French consortium Groupe SEB. As a result, all of the Group’s B2B brands were recently consolidated under the umbrella of SEB PROFESSIONAL.
