New Impulse for Strategy Consulting

With addition of Lionel Marquie c.con sets clear corporate direction

Lionel Marquie is heading the strategy consulting practice of c.con, a subsidiary of the cronos group, as Senior Vice President and Member of the Management Team since May 2011. The 45 year old experienced strategy expert will be supported by a team of highly qualified consultants and will be able to best leverage his extensive know-how and international project experience in the energy sector. Prior to joining c.con, Lionel Marquie was assuming the role of International Vice President and Managing Director Germany/Austria/Switzerland of Charles River Associates, a leading Boston headquartered strategy consulting company. Besides leading the effort of c.con‘s strategy consulting unit, Lionel Marquie will act as Advisor to the Board of cronos with regards to the group’s internationalisation.

Equally, the consulting group intends to support international energy clients in their home markets with tailored solutions aiming at achieving sustainable results. This service will furthermore encompass investors as well as private equity entering the energy sector and increasingly requesting adequate expertise and support.

In the past 15 years Lionel Marquie has contributed to the development of renowned consulting groups in Germany, USA and the UK. The internationally in Business Administration educated consultant was with the GfK group, Accenture and Celerant Consulting. In these positions he has among others formulated the unbundling strategy and corporate strategy of major utilities and energy related clients in Germany and Switzerland.
