ProCom Energy Market Conference 2016: Maintain an overview of the evolving energy market

With this year’s Energy Market Conference on 15 -16 November 2016 ProCom addresses current issues such as the much discussed digitalization trend, trading, business models and new technologies. The event aims at interested parties in power generation, trading, risk and portfolio management, controlling, sales as well as energy-intensive businesses, all whom want to be on par in an increasingly complex & diverse energy environment. Various presentations, workshops and panels will deal with how to find the right solution in a wide variety of options. The key focus lies on applicable measures for flexible and quick process adjustments, as dynamics of the energy market require high adaptability.

On Tuesday morning, 15 November, three workshops will take place simultaneously, and can be booked individually. They cover the subjects of "Virtual Power Plants – Software as a Service”, "Intraday trading B2B and algo trading” and "Optimization in industry”.

In the afternoon, the conference session will start with a presentation of ProCom’s VP Lothar Stein and a keynote of Dr. Jörg Ritter, chairman of Business Technology Consulting AG, which address the issue of digitalization from different viewpoints.

On the second conference day, 16 November, two simultaneous tracks are scheduled in the morning respectively in the afternoon, covering the subject of "Trade”, "Business Models”, as well as "Technology” and "IT / Digitalization”. The lectures are held in German or English with simultaneous translation to both languages. Both conference days offer a "solutions laboratory”, an opportunity to get to know ProCom’s decision-supporting systems for different fields of operation.
