ProCom extends their product range by taking over the Aachen-based IT company WP Consulting

Company acquisition combines expert knowledge and IT-expertise related to energy trading and sales

Effective February 15, 2017, the consulting company ProCom GmbH takes over the business of WP Consulting GmbH, which is specialized in B2B sales for the German energy market. The portfolio of the two companies in Aachen (Germany) fits together perfectly: ProCom advises energy and industrial companies throughout Europe on key issues of energy production and trading, providing them with IT solutions for optimally managing and marketing their portfolios. With this transaction, ProCom can supplement its established solutions for intraday energy trading with a powerful web front-end. The asset acquisition also ensures the continuation of the activities of WP Consulting, because ProCom not only takes over their products and know-how, but also all maintenance contracts. The continued employment of all employees ensures that WP Consulting's customers retain their usual project contacts and the business is seamlessly continued.
