Event announcement: ProCom Energy Market Conference on November 13th to 15th, 2018 in Berlin

Who will be setting the pace for the energy industry in the future? And how can companies keep up with the ever-accelerating pace? Practical answers to these and other questions will be offered at the ProCom Energy Market Conference (November 13th to 15th, 2018, in the Hotel nhow, Berlin). The focus will be on digitization and the opportunities that it can offer the energy industry. Other topics to be covered are the role of blockchain technology and its function in the industry, solution approaches for sector coupling, and experiences with e-mobility in Britain and the USA.

This year, for the first time, the ProCom Energy Market Conference will extend over three days. On Tuesday (November 13th) the exclusive ProCom Partner Workshop and the ProCom User-Meeting will take place. On Wednesday morning, there will be three parallel workshops that can be booked individually: "BoFiT News", "Intraday Trading B2B" and "Europe-wide marketing opportunities with ITA". On Wednesday afternoon, the conference begins with the keynote speech "How digitalization is energizing the energy industry" by Prof. Dr. Gunter Dueck.

In the presentations, participants will have the choice between the two topics "Business Model Innovations" and "Blockchain" (on Wednesday), followed by "The digital marketplace of tomorrow" and "Sector coupling" (on Thursday). The presentations will be given in German or in English with simultaneous translation into the other language.

Throughout the 3 days of the event the "Solutions laboratory" will provide an opportunity to get to know ProCom decision support systems across various areas of work.
