"Mostra Convegno Expocomfort” Trade Fair, 27 to 30 March 2012,Hall 24, Stand G04
In the spring of 2012, the internationally operating company Wieland-Werke AG will be presenting its products for applications in the field of thermal engineering. At the "Mostra Convegno Expocomfort”, the Milan trade fair for heating, refrigeration, ventilation and air conditioning, Wieland will be exhibiting a wide range of high-quality tubes and efficient solutions from 27 to 30 March 2012. Wieland has for the first time organised so-called "theme days” during which a number of product solutions will be taking centre stage. On the second day of the trade fair, Wieland representatives as well as experts from IBP and Umicore will be answering questions regarding Wieland-K65, the refrigeration tube for high pressures. The third day will be dedicated to the WICOATEC surface-coating process. Using finned tubes and optimised tube geometries from Wieland Thermal Solutions enables the user to design heat exchangers that are more compact and cost-effective. Smaller tube diameters are in line with the miniaturisation trend and result in an increase in energy- and cost efficiency. Moreover, they make it possible to reduce the refrigerant charge. Due to the high thermal conductivity of copper the efficiency of heat exchangers can also be significantly increased.
Wieland-K65 is characterised by high pressure resistance. The material makes it possible to use refrigerants, such as the natural refrigerant CO2 (R744), in the case of high pressures and considerably reduced tube walls.
WICOATEC is a surface-coating process developed by Wieland. During this process, a very thin glass-like coat is applied onto metals. This results in much higher corrosion resistance and consequently longer life as well as lower maintenance costs. Moreover, aluminium can be substituted for expensive and heavy materials such as stainless steel or titanium.
Small tube diameter – high efficiency: microgroove is the solution for manufacturing efficient heat exchangers on the basis of inner-grooved tubes. They make higher efficiency and the design of more compact heat exchangers possible. In addition, they lead to a reduction of the amount of refrigerant which not only results in cost saving but also preserves natural resources and protects the environment.
solarclean copper tubes exhibit a surface quality that is optimised for the ultrasonic and laser welding of tubes. Clean surfaces ensure process reliability in the manufacture of absorber elements.
Inner-grooved tubes are also used for marine applications. Here, an alloy made of the proven materials copper and nickel is combined with the innovative technology of inner grooving.
