All press releases refering to new Wieland-products shown at the ISH fair 2009 can be downloaded on this site (word format).At this year’s ISH in Frankfurt – the world’s leading trade fair for building, energy and air-conditioning technology – Wieland-Werke AG, Ulm, Germany, will be presenting a variety of new products. As one of the world’s leading manufacturers of copper and copper-alloy semi-finished products Wieland will be exhibiting a wide range of products for heating and cooling systems as well as for drinking water installation. The focus is on solutions for refurbishment which currently accounts for the majority of building projects in Germany.
With cupronova Wieland will present an innovative and easy-to-mount wall heating system which is particularly suited for refurbishment projects. In addition, the company will exhibit its cuprotherm system for underfloor heating and cooling which is based on the flexible branded CTX copper tube. Wieland will present a number of new components for the CTX system. New joining technologies are available, including the CTX sliding sleeve as metallically sealing connection (without O-ring). Wieland supplies sliding sleeves for tube connections, straight male connectors and an adaptor for copper plumbing tubes. New Wieland products are CTX energy, a factory thermally insulated CTX tube, and the cuproGeo branded copper tube which has been specially developed for use in earth collectors for geothermal applications.
In the field of drinking water installation Wieland will be exhibiting its proven SANCO copper tube which is now available in additional sizes. Wieland has for years been developing copper alloys for drinking water applications such as ECOBRASS and ECOCAST making lead-free sanitary installation possible. At this year’s ISH, Wieland will for the first time exhibit a complete sanitary installation chain based on lead-free components – from the tapping valve to the drain valve.
Wieland uses the ISH Fair not only to show products for domestic applications but also as a platform for innovative technical solutions for industrial applications. With Wieland Thermal Solutions the company presents a new brand for industrial purposes. It covers all products and services designed for chemical/process engineering, mechanical engineering and the automotive industry. This includes products such as plain tubes, inner-grooved and outer-finned tubes as well as heat exchangers. The Wieland Thermal Solutions brand not only covers high-quality products but also individual and application-specific advisory service. This includes very complex technical solutions developed in close cooperation with the customers.
