Historic meets High-Tech
Langenburg-historic makes a pit stop at special vehicles manufacturer SCHEUERLE
A meeting of vehicle enthusiasts with decades of technology between them took place recently at SCHEUERLE in Pfedelbach. The Langenburg Historic, a rally for historic motor vehicles, made a pit stop at the Pfedelbach special vehicles manufacturer on Saturday, 12th April 2008. A circuit was set up to time all the participants at the company’s site on Öhringer Straße, in addition to the obligatory log book stamping. More than 90 historic vehicles took part in the course of the morning. From motorbikes with side cars to elegant limousines, there were vehicles that have been coveted for more than a few decades.
A staff crew from SCHEUERLE ensured that the event participants were able to enjoy a smooth and easy time at SCHEUERLE. They were quickly briefed, stamped and their times for the circuit were recorded. However, it was not just their driving skills that were tested on the day. The drivers and passengers also had to prove their knowledge with a quiz on SCHEUERLE. The excitement did not abate for any participants, as there was an exclusive vehicle display with high-tech special vehicles from SCHEUERLE production for all the waiting drivers and passengers.
