KAMAG continues its successful course through the world market
At the beginning of this year, KAMAG Transporttechnik GmbH & Co. KG informed that 2004 was a successful year for the company.
The company was taken over by Otto Rettenmaier, a business man from Heilbronn, in January 2004, and since then experienced a very positive development. 110 highly qualified employees contributed in 2004 to the highest turnover ever achieved, selling more than 100 special vehicles all over the world.
KAMAG has been in business for over 36 years and its success story continues in the year 2005. KAMAG´s order books are full and the turnover will reach a new record. KAMAG has confirmed its position as successful company within the market of heavy transport vehicles and stands up against the international competition.
A recently delivered order underlines the importance of KAMAG in the world market. A Korean customer ordered, for the third time in a row, modular transporters from KAMAG to increase its fleet. These vehicles are used for the transport of extremely heavy and large loads. Depending on the number of vehicles coupled together, payloads of up to 10,000 Tons and more can be moved. Besides, such a transporter combination is manoeuvred by only one man, via remote control pulpit.
Currently, KAMAG received another order from another Asian customer for modular transporters. This company whose activities are also in the market of special transports, has also placed orders with KAMAG on various occasions.
