Long-standing respected SCHEUERLE Sales Manager,

Hansjörg Nagel received silver pin from BSK

The German Association for Heavy Goods Transport and Crane Work (BSK) has awarded the former SCHEUERLE Sales Manager, Hansjörg Nagel, with the silver pin.

As an authorised agent, for many years Hansjörg Nagel was responsible for all sales by SCHEUERLE, the special vehicles manufacturer from Hohenlohe.



Hansjörg Nagel joined SCHEUERLE in 1959. The company, which at that time was still predominantly concentrated on the national market, was a pioneer in the development of heavy goods and special vehicles. Hansjörg Nagel had a considerable influence on the development of the heavy goods transport industry. He qualified as a blacksmith and vehicle builder before moving to the Technical Office and working in the Project Department for Special Vehicles. The knowledge he acquired there soon made him a technical advisor to Sales and, as a result, a valued contact for German and international customers who were looking for solutions to their transport problems.



The self-driving, hydrostatically controlled modular transporters, which revolutionised heavy goods transport in many industrial sectors, were also developed in his time. Transports of 14,000 tonnes and more are possible with this technology. An array of other product developments also occurred in the Hansjörg Nagel era. He initiated many of these projects in cooperation with his customers scattered all over the globe. Close contact with his customers was also one of the secrets of his success. Hansjörg Nagel, who became associated with the BSK early on, took well-earned retirement on 30/06/2008, having worked just short of 50 years at SCHEUERLE.
