Averatec has launched the new look Averatec glacier white 12.1 inch notebook for a cool £ 699,- (inc. VAT), proving that good design and performance needn’t burn a hole in your budget.



The Averatec 3715 is an exciting departure from the traditional black and grey notebooks that dominate the market. The 3715 is designed with a clean white top, a stylish white interior and keyboard complemented by a matt silver screen border and silver undercarriage. With a slim line format the versatile Averatec 3715 includes features as standard that are normally only found in more expensive models. These include – wireless LAN, multi- format DVD burner or 4:1 card reader and an AMD Sempron 3000+-processor ensuring fast, powerful computing.



The 12.1 inch notebook offers both the business and consumer user good design, high quality features all at a sensible price.



The Averatec 3715 builds on the success of its predecessor the 3250 and is a small, perfectly proportioned portable notebook measuring only 275 x 225 x 29 mm and weighing just 1.890 grams. The keyboard is almost full size with 18mm between the centre of one key to the centre of the next. The touch pad is positioned below the keyboard and the addition of two zones near the left and bottom of the pad allow easy and precise screen navigation



Quick to connect, the Averatec 3715 has three active USB 2.0 ports and the addition of an external monitor port provides energy for other mobile gadgets such as MP3 Players and mobile phones. Ethernet connection, FireWire ports and integrated modem are fitted as standard on all Averatec notebooks.



The notebook is extremely efficient with 512 MB working memory and 80 GB hard disk, powered by an AMD Sempron 3000+-processor which provides a battery run time of up to 3.5 hours with AMD PowerNow!™ Technology.
