Not just another PR network: BarcelonaProject offers European PR solutions
New service from Press’n’Relations (D-A-CH), Actual PR (F) and PRPR (UK)
Press’n’Relations, Actual PR and PRPR have looked after joint customers for several years. Now the three agencies have combined their PR services under the umbrella of the BarcelonaProject (www.barcelonaproject.eu). The BarcelonaProject is specifically not conceived as a conventional PR network, but encompasses a structured range of solutions for organisations that want to conduct press relations on a European basis. In the process, we work at a European level as one agency: one partner takes on the content and strategic leadership and is the central contact for the client, Uwe Pagel, Director of Press’n’Relations, explains how the process model will work. In this way, the effort for the client sinks dramatically, as it does not have to communicate separately with each national agency. We coordinate the projects to a great extent between us, which saves time and money continues Pagel. Using this concept the three partners have already successfully implemented various international projects for clients, including for the Taiwanese notebook manufacturer Averatec, the flash memory pioneer msystems from Israel, and the US American IT security provider, Watchguard. Besides that, the BarcelonaProject also supports the international strategy consultant ClimatePartner, which has specialised in the development of negotiation concepts in voluntary climate protection.
It was in fact climate protection that gave the final impetus for founding the BarcelonaProject. For this concept arose out of a meeting on the fringes of a climate partner conference in Barcelona attended by the three agency heads Hervé Delamarre (Actual), Peter Rennison (PRPR) and Uwe Pagel (Press’n’Relations).
The target groups for the BarcelonaProject are clearly defined: technology-oriented organisations from the USA or Asia that wish to get a foothold in the European market. Others, for example, are organisations from the whole German-speaking world that wish to develop the wider European market. At the same time, the BarcelonaProject is aimed at clients who are not looking for a large international agency, but who attach value to individual and flexible support from a PR partner oriented to medium-sized clients.
With locations in Ulm, Munich, Vienna, Zurich, Paris and Hemel Hempstead, on the northern edge of London, the BarcelonaProject is present in the most important European markets. As required, further network partners can be included from the whole of Europe.
