The "AirCargo-GIGA" –

the giant for temperature-controlled air cargo transportation with TALSON insulated box body

Impressive features of the TALSON AirCargo-GIGA:



- Maximum volume with ca. 102 m³

- Low weight of approx. 7,000 kg (incl. roller conveyors, without cooling

unit) through self-supporting box body construction.

- ATP/FNA certificate for refrigerated box body including built-in roller

conveyors.



The self-supporting refrigerated box body is mounted on a three-axle, air-suspended axle assembly in a lightweight steel construction from TIRSAN serial production. The axles (supplied by leading manufacturers) are equipped with 215/75 R 17.5 or 235/75 R17.5 tyres The floor is produced using a bolted or glued sandwich design and is equipped with an extremely low frame construction above the coupling plate with a total height of approx. 64 mm (incl. roller conveyors). The superstructure consists of sandwich panels with specially-processed aluminium sheets on the outer side and polyester panels inside. If required, a level loading facility or a TALDRIVE drive system for quick, automatic loading and unloading can be installed. The robust rear portal with its tightly closing double doors and integrated locks in typical TALSON quality round off the modern, technically sophisticated equipment of the new AirCargo-GIGA.
